Rooted Breathwork Circles for Adults

Community breathwork in Portland Oregon, and online

Breathwork is a form of self care, and sustainable self-care requires us to build community

In this time of disconnection, disruption and division, we need spaces where we can be witnessed, celebrated and held in community. This may feel like a vulnerable edge, and we are not meant to walk this world alone, being vulnerable helps us connect to our deepest truth.

Over the years, we have lost the experience of healing and wholing in community. I believe it takes a village and I want to be part of remembering how, in supporting our fellow neighbors, peers and friends, we also support ourselves, and there is a positive effect that ripples out into community. I use circling practices from restorative justice and my celtic lineage.

Rooted breathwork Circle is a sanctuary for deep connection, personal growth and healing.

Utilising conscious connected breathwork as a powerful truth speaker, coming from our bodies, our unconscious, the deepest most hidden aspects of ourselves.

More open hearted people in the world, in their fullest, safest expression is how we help each other heal.

What happens in a breathwork circle?

People have gathered in circles for many millennia, across many ancient cultures worldwide. Much like their origins, Rooted Breathwork Circles are a space to share resource, wisdom, stories, to witness and be seen.

We co-create a nurturing and brave space for you to open your heart, practice being in community, and integrate parts of yourself with compassion, acceptance and love.

We will begin with a guided grounding and creating our container agreements. There will be opportunities to speak and listen, release your day, practice embodiment tools to land in the space.

I teach you the conscious connected breathwork technique and the journey itself is typically around 35-40 minutes, which you can do laying down or sitting up. A curated playlist (or live music) guides your journey with your breath, alongside cues..

You will have moments to learn how to use your breath to help you notice, value, voice your bodies’ truth and open your heart and offer you the confidence to be yourself. You will be learn how to regulate your nervous system, integrate past experiences, reduce stress and anxiety.

You get to accept, reject or adapt (within safety parameters) the breathwork and you can remain in embodied control of your breath. All parts of you are welcome, your breath, sound, movement, and expression!

We come back together to integrate through creative processes, and connection through stories and poetry.
